The load

Behind the meter, spare industrial, hydro, geothermal, wind and solar, mill host.

    Spare industrial.

    Spare industrial, or stand-alone at the substation.

    Retrofit onto existing low-voltage infrastructure.

  3. Hydro

    Hydro, wind and solar.

    Hydro, solar and wind. Compute absorbs spill so the Energy is used, not switched off.

    When prices go negative, the load ramps up. Curtailment becomes load.

  4. Mill

    The mill that stays on.

    Sawmills, pulp, drying. Local Heat on site — process and premises.

    The mill cannot pause — Compute flexes instead.

  5. Geo

    Geothermal.

    Generation at the source. A Heat sink next to the pad.

    Cooling and generation at the same surplus.

Why it holds

Sit the load at the surplus — not a new feeder.

  1. Queue

    The queue is years.

    Demand-connection queues run years.

    Containerised centres don’t require major grid reinforcements. A module sits where the Energy already is.

  2. North

    The north spills cheap.

    The cause is congestion. Northern hydro and wind cannot move south fast enough, so the north clears cheap and the south clears expensive.

    Power is 60–80% of the cost base. Sweden, 2025: 322 negative-price hours. First plots sit in Hälsingland.

  3. Local

    Energy, Compute and Thermal/Heat stay local.

    The same surplus. A module at the source. Compute. Thermal/Heat.

  4. Locked

    The site is the moat.

    Surplus sites, once locked, are not a copy-paste campus.

    Locked-in surplus cannot be copied.
